Sadie Amara Calvano has become well-known for her character Violet Plunkett that she played in the CBS sitcom Mom. Calvano is a Californian who was interested at first in athletics. Then, she made the decision to pursue a career path in acting. In a CBS"NCIS," the show "NCIS" the actress made her debut in the year 2010. The biographical crime film J Edgar was her big screen debut a year following. She quickly became one of the most talented young actors on the scene over the next few several years. In 2011, she was awarded an award for a Young Artist Award nomination for the top Actress on a TV Series, guest Actress 11-15. In 2013, she was nominated once again for an award called a Young Artist Award. This was for her performance on Disney XD's 'Kickin It'. Calvano was part of the main cast of 'Mom' in its first three seasons and appeared in several episodes of the fourth season. The actress won the Gracie Allen Award in 2015 for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star because of her character in 'Mom'.
