Aisha Jamila is a famous American actor who is most well recognized for her performances on TV's 'The Shield' and 'True Blood'. Since her first appearance in 2003 Aisha J. Hinds has proven her versatility in acting with her outstanding performances on television series such as '9-1-1,' 'Detroit 18-7' and Under the Dome. It was initially noticed because of the role she played as Anna in the 2005 movie "Assault on the Precinct 13". In reality, it was the performance of her character as women's rights activists Fannie Lou Hamer, in the biography movie "All the Way" which eventually earned her recognition as an actor. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama "Underground" was also highly acclaimed. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a brand new season.
